Planning, developing and managing a Clinical Pastoral Education Program can be a daunting task. It requires someone equally comfortable with providing strategic leadership, manage affiliation agreements, and serve as a point of contact. Someone who can develop goals and objective plans, while maintaining a cost effective environment.

WHAT YOU WILL DO 13;
:Ensure Clinical Pastoral Education program conforms to the Association for Clinical Pastoral Education (ACPE) published Standards.
:Develop required site placement agreements for student.
:Develop and facilitate effectiveness of the CPE Professional Advisory Group (PAG) and its functions.
:Provide administrative supervision of staff assistant assigned to Clinical Pastoral Education Program.
:Ensure that all CPE students meet the required orientation and onboarding process required by Franciscan Health.
:Evaluate students personal and professional functioning through completion of an evaluative report in accordance with ACPE Standards, and completing ACPE registration forms for students who complete their program.
:Provide direction to CPE students and others involved in the CPE program as faculty resources.
:Promote interdisciplinary approach to pastoral care education in all CPE programs. Develops collaborative relationships among leaders in other departments.
:Develop annual budget for the CPE program in a timely manner according to institutional guidelines.
:Develop innovative educational experience for students. 13;
WHAT IT TAKES TO SUCCEED 13;
:Prior experience in CPE Supervicion and CPE program management.
:Two to four years of education in Supervisory education.
:Strong leadership and organizational skills.
:Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
:Strong analytical skills.
:Proficient computer skills. 13;
WHAT WERE LOOKING FOR
:Graduate Degree in Theology
:Two:four years of education in Supervisory education
:3:5 years experience in CPE Supervision
:3 years experience in CPE program management
:ACPE Supervisor or Associate Supervisor;
:Preferred: Board Certified Chaplain with National Association of Catholic Chaplains or Association of Professional Chaplains or Association of Jewish Chaplains
:Preferred Religious Affiliation: Roman Catholic
