Description As a Health, Safety and Environmental Business Partner with Rolls-Royce, you will provide senior professional advice and hands on leadership within Health, Safety and Environmental management. From monitoring HSandE performance to developing improvement programs and liaising with stakeholders, you will have the opportunity to support processes across the organization whilst building sound relationships. We`re the second largest global provider of defence aero-engine products and services globally with 16,000 engines in the service of 160 customers in 100 countries. Our engines power aircraft in every major sector, including: transport, combat, patrol, trainers, helicopters and unmanned aerial vehicles. Key Accountabilities Maintaining sound relationships and representing the organization on all HSandE matters with regulators, customers, suppliers and other stakeholders Developing HSandE policies, objectives and targets based on the needs of the various stakeholders with particular emphasis on the implementation of plans to fulfil these and related strategies to drive performance improvement Having a thorough understanding of the risk management process, including operational control of major hazards, and apply this in order to drive risk reduction in a prioritized manner Taking a leading role in HSandE performance monitoring, including trend analysis and the preparation of reports, and the development of improvement programs to address any issues identified Undertaking HSandE audits and support the closure of any non-conformances raised Delivering effective presentations on relevant HSandE matters and issues to drive management and employee understanding, engagement and commitment to effecting improvements Undertaking incident investigations and compile a report on complex and/or serious events and support the investigation processes across the organization Developing and delivering training and briefings on key issues and topics. Maintaining an understanding of HSandE best practice and applicable legislation, interpret its implications and develop action plans accordingly Rolls-Royce is a Military Friendly Employer. Basic: Bachelor`s degree and 6 years` experience in manufacturing and/or an industrial Health, Safety and Environmental role OR; A Master`s degree and 4 years` experience in manufacturing and/or an industrial Health, Safety and Environmental role In order to be considered for this opportunity, you must be eligible to obtain and maintain security clearance, which requires USA Citizenship Preferred: 3 years` experience in Health, Safety and Environmental management Experience with PFMEA or other analysis tools for quantifying risk in a manufacturing environment Experience in CALARP process safety management and chemical management systems Create optimum performance.
