We are seeking an experienced Account Manager/Specialist to join our growing team Under general supervision, the Account Manager will use specialized benefit industry knowledge and training in servicing client accounts for employers with 50:1,000 employees with their medical, dental, vision, life and disability plans. The level of support will depend on the client size as well as the complexity of the account. This position is an Exempt position that will report directly to a team of Benefit Advisors.
Responsibilities:
:Lead the employers through the annual enrollment meetings, answering benefit questions for employers and their workforce and assisting with benefits compliance and ACA reporting.
:Responsible for the design and distribution of the annual employee benefits guide, which is unique and tailored to meet each clients needs.
:Manage clients through the implementation of new vendors and benefit platforms. This includes the roll:out of new employer coverages and carrier implementations, as well as ongoing vendor management on behalf of the client.
:Under the direction of the Benefit Advisor, develop client specific strategies for the ongoing employee education and communication to improve the work force;s understanding and appreciation of the chosen benefits offering.
:Responsible for nurturing the client relationship and understanding when and how to create value for the client through the implementation of new technology, best practices and ever evolving business processes.
:Perform continuing education to obtain and/or retain the proper job related licenses.

:Bachelors Degree in Business, Marketing or Finance Preferred
:3:5 years prior experience in the employee benefits, insurance or comparable industry equivalent
:Indiana Life and Health Insurance License or the ability to obtain one within one year of employment
:Advanced knowledge of federal and state benefits compliance laws, including HIPAA
:Working knowledge of industry products and administrative tools preferred, but not necessaryCompany Description:/h3:
