WHAT YOU WILL DO 13;
:Assist with financial accounting functions to ensure timely and accurate reporting of clinic financial information.
:All general accounting functions including general ledger maintenance, annual financial audits, monthly financial statement preparation, monthly variance analysis and accounts payable functions.
:Develop and approve financial statements, including balance sheets, profit/loss statements and analysis of variances in accounts, ratios, income/expense.
:Interact with auditors, vendors, and other third:party agencies regarding accounting functions.
:Develop and monitor the internal audit program to ensure internal financial controls.
:Direct, forecast, and analyze the impact of IT projects and contracts for new services, equipment and technologiesacquisitions.
:Review departmental performance and ensures compliance with fiscal governmental reporting requirements.
:Leads investigations of facility specific variances with local factility management staff and works to develop actions plans and timelines to achieve such goals.
:Accountable for monitoring Financial Key Performance Indicators and recommend strategies to senior leadership to meet agreed upon objectives.
:Select, train, orient and manage departmental personnel; recommend merit increases, promotions, and disciplinary actions.
:Direct and coordinate reimbursement and general accounting.
:Develop and maintain effective systems of general accounting and cost determination.
:Analyze expenditures, develop financing strategies and ensure appropriate income/cash flow.
:Interpret and enforce third:party payer rules and regulations; ensure related necessary cost reporting/billing is performed.
:Direct all statistical analysis and reporting including monthly operating and management statistics.
:Formulate financial planning activities including annual operating budget preparation and rate development.
:Authorize and direct financial support for risk management functions.
:Interact with Chief Information Officer (CIO) in developing the strategic plan and its financial planning component.
:Review, develop and implement financial policies and procedures and ensure compliance.
:Supervise the analysis of costs and make rate recommendations to ensure appropriate income/cash flow.
:Review billing/collection patterns and make corrective recommendations. 13;

:MBA or CPA
:At least 10 years of experience in financial analysis and business case creation
:5:7 years of supervisory experience
Preferred Skills and Knowledge
:Basic understanding of healthcare IT industry
:Working knowledge of Kaufmann Hall budgeting and capital management software
:Lean Six Sigma Certification
:Project Management and/or Change Management Certification 13;
