We are the primary academic affairs, faculty development, and diversity unit for IUSM's over 2,000 faculty members. Diversity serves learners, faculty, and staff and is focused on advancing education, clinical care, and research. There are three pillars of the diversity work at IUSM. These are: 1) representational diversity 2) inclusive working and learning climate and 3) cultural competence. Responsibilities: Coordinate school-wide diversity programming Supporting and advising affiliated learner affinity groups Managing diversity awards and the mentoring program Fiscal, operational, and personnel management Basic Qualifications Master's Degree in higher education, college student personnel, or other related field 2-3 years of experience working in a university setting, preferably in diversity affairs or related experience working with diverse populations and development of retention programs Content expertise in multiculturalism, cultural competence and issues of structural inequity preferred Department Contact for QuestionsSenem Guler, sguler@iu.edu Priority Application Review Deadline: 02/12/2018OAA #: IUSM002652016
