The Role
As the Group Insurance Sales Representative, you will be responsible for building and maintaining business relationships to meet or exceed established sales goals, quotas, or objectives for your assigned area of responsibility. You will build, maintain and execute basic sales plans with Advisors/Registered Representatives/Brokers/ Plan Sponsors/Participants in your assigned territory which result in an increase in sales revenue and market share within assigned area of responsibility.
Responsibilities
Sales
:Conducts site visits to assigned Advisors, Registered Representatives, Brokers and /or Plan Sponsor/Participants to achieve sales targets.
:Meets or exceeds all department and /or sales goals/targets for his/her assigned territory.
:Maintains sales call data in appropriate systems and /or completing sales reports.
:Increases/gains awareness of Lincolns products and services with Advisors, Registered Representatives, Brokers and /or Plan Sponsor/Participants
Relationship Building
:Builds and maintains effective relationships with assigned Advisors, Registered Representatives, Brokers and /or Plan Sponsor/Participants to ensure a high level of satisfaction and increase revenues.
:Collaborates with internal stakeholders on proposals and /or promotional materials for his/her assigned area(s) of responsibility.
:Cultivates, manages, and maintains basic Advisor, Registered Representative, Brokers and /or Plan Sponsor/Participants client relationships within assigned territory.
:Develops and maintains collaborative relationships with internal stakeholders to achieve sales objectives
Business Development
:Develops and executes basic plans to increase/gain opportunities to introduce Lincolns products/services, mgmt and other resources to targeted Advisors, Registered Representatives, Brokers and /or Plan Sponsor/Participants.
:Develops, maintains and executes basic sales plans to increase sales revenue and market share with assigned Advisors, Registered Representatives Brokers, and /or Plan Sponsor/Participants
:Ensures any potential conflicts regarding Lincolns products/services are resolved.
:Maintains expense budgets to set limits.
:Profiles assigned basic territory and assigned Advisors, Registered Representatives, Brokers and /or Plan Sponsor/Participants o target relationships to build and identify which firms/institutions would be interested in LFG offerings..
:Provides feedback to internal partners on existing and targeted Advisors, Registered Representatives, Brokers and /or Plan Sponsor/Participants..
:Provides information, education, training and advice on companys products and services to assigned Advisors, Registered Representatives, Brokers and /or Plan Sponsor/Participants.
:Provides sales support tools, sales and marketing ideas on Lincolns products/offerings to assigned Advisors, Registered Representatives, Brokers and /or Plan Sponsor/Participants.
Education and Experience
:0 : 1+ Years of experience in intermediary sales that directly aligns with the specific responsibilities for this position (Required)
:4 Year/Bachelors degree or equivalent work experience (4 years of experience in lieu of Bachelors) (Minimum Required)
