The Accounts Payable Supervisor will lead and manage the accounts payable team. In addition, the role will perform general accounts payable responsibilities for some large accounts. The role will process invoices and ensure payments are issued in a timely manner. The Supervisor may conduct investigations into invoice problems, ensure proper vendor management and internal controls are followed, distribute work to balance workload and conduct audits and reports on a regular basis.Leadership (40)Apply knowledge and experience of accounts payable function to provide direction to othersMotivate others through praise, recognition, and rewardsCoach and mentor team by providing feedback on performance and documentation habitsDevelop others to continuously achieve long and short term business resultsLead monthly team meetingInvoice Processing (30)Sort and file received invoicesProcess invoices for paymentPerform weekly check runsPerform quality checks and inspections as neededInvoice Reconciliation (30)Communicate with vendors and site managers to resolve outstanding invoicesGenerate and maintain account reconciliations using Great Plains and ExcelConduct investigations for payment validationEducation and Work ExperienceA Minimum 3 years working in an accounts payable supervisory function preferredStrong Microsoft Excel experience is requiredAP Experience requiredKnowledgeAbility to set priorities and manage time while working on multiple projectsAbility to work effectively with other team membersInterpersonal and conflict management skills to build and maintain relationshipsAnalytical thinking skills for invoice processingStrong written and verbal communicationEffectively communicate with external vendors and internal customers/departments
